As a small business with a big social conscience, we're dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment. This Earth Day, we're thrilled to share the projects and initiatives we're working on to be a responsible and eco-conscious brand. 🌟 Our Commitment to Conscious Consumerism We believe in promoting slow, mindful use of skincare products, which is why we test on friends, not animals, and why we encourage you to use one product for many purposes. Conscious consumerism is key to ensuring we take less from the planet's precious natural resources. 🐝 Supporting Bee Welfare Our beeswax is sourced from the pristine environment of the Azores, where bees thrive in a pesticide-free haven. We're passionate about bee welfare, which is why we donate 3.44% of every single sale to the Natural Beekeeping Trust. Last year, our donation helped fund projects designed to rewild bee habitats, supporting endangered bee species. 🔄 Recycling for Rewards Help us in our mission to recycle and reduce waste! For every six black glass receptacles that you post back to us, we'll send you one product of your choice up to the value of £30. It's a win-win for you and the planet as we promote a circular economy model. (The jars must be in perfect condition after having been thoroughly washed and dried, otherwise we can’t reuse them.) 🌐 Embedded Sustainability in Our Business Model Sustainability is ingrained in the governance and structure of our business model. Operating as a Community Interest Company (CIC), we're committed to benefiting the community we serve. In 2023, we appointed a Sustainability professional to our board of directors, ensuring that sustainability remains a core focus as we grow. |
